Making a proposal in Rome it’s already super romantic gesture but to order photoshoot along even more amazing.
One of the ways of making proposal photoshoot is to book photo walk while in the process the groom unexpectedly goes down on one knee.
The only thing left is to arrange the place in advance so there will be no unfortunate surprises such as crowd of people entering in the middle or photographer won’t change his lens at the moment ☺
One more option is to make a full surprise about the photoshoot itself and the bride will know only after the proposal ☺
Planning to propose in Rome?
The Eternal City offers countless breathtaking spots for an unforgettable moment.
Whether you prefer a panoramic view, a historical landmark, or a peaceful setting, here are the best places to pop the question.
Best time: Early morning or sunset
A proposal with the Colosseum as your backdrop is a classic choice. The hilltop near the Colosseum offers a stunning view, and the best part is that you can find a quiet spot at any time of the day. However, for the most beautiful light, we recommend early morning or sunset.
Best time: Early morning
One of the most popular locations for proposals in Rome, this panoramic terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city. It’s particularly magical at sunset, but due to its popularity, it can get crowded in the evening. If you want a more intimate moment, early morning is the best time.
Best time: 6-7 AM
The Trevi Fountain is one of Rome’s most iconic landmarks and a dream location for a proposal. However, this place is always packed with tourists. The only way to have a quiet and romantic moment here is to come at 6-7 AM before the crowds arrive.
Best time: Any time of the day
This hidden gem is a perfect spot for a proposal away from the tourist crowds. The terrace offers a stunning city view, and since it is not well-known among visitors, you can propose here at any time of the day without worrying about large crowds.
Best time: Any time of the day
For a peaceful and picturesque proposal, the lake at Villa Borghese is a fantastic choice. You can propose by the water or even rent a small boat for a more intimate and romantic setting. Thanks to the shade of the trees, the lighting here is great at any time of the day.
Best time: Anytime
